6,580 fans watched an exciting game at the ballpark. The Tampico Stogies
topped the Burbank Tigers by the slimmest of margins, 6 to 5.
Both teams were tied at 5 runs apiece after nine innings. Tampico ended up
winning it in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Keith Ginter
smashed a solo-shot out of the park (his 5th of the season) making Tampico
the winners and sending the 6,580 fans home happy. It was roller coaster of
a game as the lead change hands 5 times.
The win went to Jason Frasor(1-1) who allowed 1 run in 2 innings. Luis
Ayala(1-2) suffered the loss in relief. He allowed 1 run and 1 hit in 1
inning.
